Enterprise Application Developer
(Application Developer / Software Developer – Enterprise Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, design, and develop enterprise software and utility programs to meet business requirements.

• Analyse user needs and design software solutions using principles of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

• Update and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality, performance, and usability.

• Develop, implement, and direct software testing and validation procedures to ensure quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop system specifications and performance requirements.

• Prepare technical design documents, conduct unit testing, and maintain detailed documentation for all software development activities.

• Act as a primary point of contact for assigned applications, leading the end-to-end development lifecycle.

Core Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

Minimum 5 years of hands-on enterprise application development experience in large-scale enterprise systems.

1. Enterprise Front-End Application Development & Enhancement

• 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and enhancing enterprise user interfaces.

• Proficiency with modern development IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code, and version control systems like GIT.

• Experience in customizing and enhancing UI frameworks to meet business process requirements.

2. Core Data Modelling & Secure Data Services (CDS)

• 5+ years of experience in developing and enhancing core data models for enterprise applications.

• Strong expertise in managing data authorizations, views, and complex data structures.

• Experience in creating secure, high-performance data services supporting enterprise-level operations.

3. Back-End Programming for High-Performance In-Memory Databases

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise-grade back-end programming, including coding, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful application programming models (RAP or equivalent).

• Development and maintenance of integration services, APIs, and middleware connections between enterprise systems.

Technical Skills (Good-to-Have / Additional Expertise)

• Designing and developing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture (SOA) integrations.

• Experience with middleware, web services, and OData-based integrations.

• Development and configuration of workflow automation (classic and flexible) for business processes.

• Advanced reporting and analytics: ALV-style dashboards, object-oriented reporting frameworks, and enterprise reporting tools.

• Strong understanding of enterprise software lifecycle, version control, and CI/CD processes.
