**Job Description: Supervisor (Chinese Restaurant – Parkway Parade, Singapore)**

**Position Summary:**

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our team at a Chinese restaurant located in Orchard, Singapore. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional dining experiences to our guests by delivering prompt and courteous service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Customer Service:**

- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

- Provide detailed menu knowledge, including recommending popular dishes and pairing options.

- Attend to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.

2. **Order Management:**

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.

- Serve dishes in a timely manner while adhering to restaurant standards.

- Handle special dietary requests and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. **Operational Duties:**

- Set up and prepare tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.

- Refill drinks, clear used dishes, and maintain a tidy dining area throughout service.

- Assist in opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and polishing utensils.

4. **Team Collaboration:**

- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

- Address customer feedback and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

5. **Compliance and Hygiene:**

- Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest hygiene standards.

- Follow proper handling and serving procedures, especially for traditional Chinese dishes.

**Requirements:**

- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant setting (no experience required, experience in Chinese cuisine is a plus).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

- Basic understanding of Chinese food culture and menu terminology is an advantage.
