AI Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions that drive business impact. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the AI lifecycle from data preparation and model development to deployment, monitoring, and governance with strong exposure to MLOps and production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI/ML Model Development

• Design, train, fine-tune, and deploy Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and LLM-based models.
• Conduct benchmarking, performance evaluation, and model validation.
• Optimize model architectures for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.

2. Data Engineering & Preparation

• Collaborate on data sourcing, cleaning, labeling, and feature engineering.
• Build and manage scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.

3. Model Deployment & MLOps

• Deploy models using cloud platforms and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.
• Monitor model performance, detect drift/bias, and enable automated retraining.
• Maintain model versioning and experiment tracking.

4. AI System Integration

• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications and APIs.
• Optimize inference for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure reliability and scalability in production environments.

5. Responsible AI & Governance

• Ensure fairness, transparency, and explainability in AI systems.
• Implement bias detection and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical AI standards.

6. Research & Innovation

• Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and research advancements.
• Prototype innovative AI solutions to address evolving business needs.
• Contribute to internal AI capability building.

7. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and data teams.

8. Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain technical documentation, design specs, and runbooks.
• Establish and follow internal AI engineering standards and best practices.
• Share knowledge through internal sessions and code reviews.

9. Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Continuously optimize model performance, accuracy, and operational cost.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to the AI platform roadmap and strategic direction.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RAG architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience in production-grade AI systems.
• Exposure to model governance, explainability tools (SHAP, LIME), or AI compliance frameworks.
• Experience in distributed computing or big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
