Ads algorithm engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy deep learning–based models for core advertising tasks such as CTR/CVR prediction, bid optimization, and ad ranking.
• Research and apply state‑of‑the‑art deep learning architectures (e.g., Transformers, Multi‑Task Learning, DeepFM, DIN/DIEN) to solve real‑world advertising challenges.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to build scalable feature pipelines and collaborate with product teams to integrate models into production systems.
• Conduct rigorous offline evaluations and online A/B testing to assess model performance and drive continuous iteration.
• Stay updated with advancements in deep learning, recommendation systems, and computational advertising, and explore their practical application.
• Optimize model inference latency and resource efficiency for real‑time serving in high‑traffic environments.

Job Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of deep learning concepts including representation learning, attention mechanisms, and sequence modeling.
• Experience with large‑scale distributed training and model deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, or Flink is a plus.
• Prior experience in online advertising or recommender systems is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a passion for applying AI to real‑world business impact.
