Locum Staff Nurse (Operating Theatre – Day Surgery)

This role supports day surgery operating theatre services. You will be deployed on an ad-hoc basis when manpower is required. The setting is strictly office hours with no overnight or inpatient cases.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Office hours only
• No night shifts

Work Setting:

• Day Surgery Operating Theatre
• No inpatient wards
• No overnight cases

Job Scope:

• Assist doctors during day surgery procedures
• Perform scrub and circulating duties
• Prepare and check operating theatre instruments and equipment
• Maintain sterility and safety standards in the operating theatre
• Assist with post-procedure patient monitoring
• Support documentation and daily OT workflow

Requirements:

• Must have prior Operating Theatre / Day Surgery experience
• Able to commit on an ad-hoc locum basis
