Accounts Executive

We are a Singapore based ship management company managing a fleet of LPG carriers engaged in worldwide trading and looking for a suitable candidate for the post of Accounts Executive.

Job Responsibilities

• Check and journalize monthly crew transactions and ship statements.
• Review charterer and agents’ voyage disbursement accounts; detail line items and account codes, and resolve discrepancies.
• Issue and send invoices and credit notes to customers.
• Reconcile inter-company balances and manage monthly inter-company billing, journals, and settlements.
• Assist in monthly and year end closing.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and crew manning agents.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
  

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience within the shipping industry.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central accounting software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• A dedicated team player.
