Job Summary

You will support the Accountant by processing supplier and customer invoices, performing monthly bank reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing to ensure accurate financial records and timely operations.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and prepare payments on schedule
• Prepare customer invoices to support billing operations
• Perform data entry, filing, and copying to maintain organized financial records
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting
• Support day-to-day accounting operations to maintain smooth workflow
• Meet monthly deadlines consistently to support financial processes
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned to support the team

Required competencies and certifications

• NITEC in Accountancy, LCCI, or equivalent certification
• At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience and/or experience in accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial tasks
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision to complete assigned duties
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively
• Strong analytical skills to support financial data review
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
• Ability to work well under pressure and contribute positively to team spirit
