Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Processing and managing Accounts Payables transactions, to ensure are recorded accurate and timely recording of invoices and payment.
• Comfortable handling recurring deadlines and transaction volumes
• Coordinate with vendors on invoice and payment-related queries and follow-ups
• Handle staff’s queries of the expense claims and ensure compliance
• Assist in the administration and banking matters of the office
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities
• Support improvements to accounting processes, including system usage and workflow enhancements as transaction volumes grow
• Provide general accounting and operational support to meet the day-to-day and ad-hoc activities of the Accounts Department

Requirements:

• Diploma/ GCE ‘O’ Level / NITEC/ LCCI with basic accounting knowledge.
• At least 1 year of related experience in Payables function.
• Hands-on experience using Sage accounting systems for Accounts Payable processing is required or highly advantageous.
• Able to start immediately or within short notice period will be an added advantage
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, etc)
• Has initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility
• Open to improving existing processes, system usage, and supporting automation initiatives
• Meticulous, attention to details is a must
• Singaporeans or Permanent Residents
