Accounts and Admin Assistant

Job Summary

Manage full set accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and corporate policies while preparing accurate financial reports and supporting cash flow and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting and finance tasks including managing receivables, payables, general ledger entries, tax filings, and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare timely month-end and year-end financial and management reports to support business decision-making
• Consolidate accounts ensuring compliance with China and Singapore accounting standards for accurate financial reporting
• Maintain schedules for fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and deposits to track financial positions
• Ensure adherence to relevant statutory regulations and corporate policies to maintain compliance
• Liaise with banks to resolve banking transaction issues such as remittances for smooth financial operations
• Process GST returns accurately and submit on time to comply with tax regulations
• Forecast cash flow and manage funds to support operational liquidity and financial planning
• Prepare monthly payroll and yearly IR8A submissions to ensure timely employee compensation and statutory reporting
• Submit monthly CPF contributions to comply with statutory employee benefits requirements
• Execute other ad-hoc accounting and finance assignments as needed to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
• Proficient in accounting principles to ensure accurate financial management
• Skilled in Excel, Million accounting software, and payroll software for efficient financial processing
• Ability to work independently with high accuracy and efficiency to meet deadlines
