Are you a highly experienced accounting professional with a passion for excellence and client service? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to manage the full set of accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients. This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment that values precision, responsibility, and growth.

As an Accounting Manager, you will:

  • Oversee and deliver financial and accounting services to a portfolio of clients.
  • Review monthly client accounts, statutory financial reporting, and service tax submissions.
  • Prepare consolidated group accounts and head office reports for multi-entity clients.
  • Supervise cash forecasting and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Evaluate clients’ accounting systems and internal controls, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor compliance with local regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and tax agents on all accounting-related matters.
  • Manage billing and collection for services rendered to clients.
  • Guide and mentor junior staff within the accounting function.

Who We're Looking For

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills and familiarity with accounting/payroll software.
  • Meticulous, analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Prepared to work under time pressure in meeting multiple client deadlines.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local tax regulations.
  • Compulsory to have Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • 7 – 9 years of relevant experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience in the accounting function, preferably in accounting firms, shared services or outsourcing services providers.
  • Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, relevant tax and audit rules, procedures and guidelines.
  • Good command of English Language, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Xero Accounting Software application would be advantageous.
