1 Year Contract Bank Settlements Officer (Trade Operations) #BLM

Jobs Responsibilities

• Process and oversee settlement for local and foreign equities as well as OTC products, ensuring timely and accurate execution

• Validate and reconcile dealing tickets against incoming trade confirmations to ensure trade integrity

• Investigate and resolve unmatched trade positions and settlement breaks promptly to minimise risk exposure

• Liaise with institutional clients, custodian banks, brokers and liquidity providers to resolve trade and settlement discrepancies

• Perform trade validation, reconciliation, control checks and exception handling within stipulated timelines

• Take ownership of assigned markets and ensure smooth end to end settlement operations

• Identify control gaps and drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and workflow

• Support ad hoc operational and project initiatives as required
